We have had an amazing opportunity in these last months to share some awesome memories, meeting fantastic people, Creators, Pirates and Fae; and getting some amazing Photos and videos for The Wyldwood Portfolio. From the amazing Sherwood Forest to the Homeland of Wyldwood itself, Kirkleatham Showground.
From Banquets to Eternal Love our Photographers and Videographers, Moor & Moon ( Instagram- @moorandmoon_ ) created the most wonderfully adventurous pre-event trailer, capturing the most amazing Photographs and embodying the atmosphere we aspire to provoke! They will be with us on the day to also capture some amazing memories!

It was a long day at the Wyldwood photoshoot, and the Wyldwood team came prepared with some grub! We hauled a Mountain of cheese blocks, Meat sticks, and Grapes a’ plenty, as well as a tonne of mead provided by our gracious sponsor, Nidhoggr Mead Co. and made sure to get some pretty cool promotional shots for them too. This was for set dressing for our Banquet scene and also did everyone the favour of keeping us fed. We also brought water and pop so that everyone could stay hydrated!

Everyone pulled together to make the banquet scene wonderful! From the layers and layers of fabrics to the cheeseboards and tankards, we captured genuine beauty and merriment as our everybody laughed and drank and ate to their hearts content. Set dressing was the most tedious part, however the moments that followed came all too easy, which was just lovely to watch unfold.
The Hand fasting by our celebrant, Lottie Moon and two of our team was Fun to watch as as gentle choreography unfolded to capture a celebration of love within an intimate Handfasting ceremony. Close up shots were carried out of the hand tying and moments between the two lovers, after this deep moment in the videography everyone came to join them in enjoying the moment! We then had the chance to use smoke equipment, which really added to the adventure! We got some amazing shots of folk appearing through the smoke and that was the end of that scene!

During this time we had taken it upon ourselves to also get some Meme content for TikTok. Who knew summoning a horned goddess would be so fun? It was great to laugh and connect with our community and Wyldwood Family!
When the day was sadly coming to end, in the pitch black of night, we were so happy to have been able to share just a small but full glimpse of what Wyldwood and meet the incredible people ready to join us at our event.
Deep in the, iPhone-torch lit night, we met Micki, our Social Media Fae! It is fair to say we got on even after such a tiring day, the conversation sparked and the ideas bounced for Social media content. They passed the interview on the spot!
If you have an interest in joining us for events like these, join our Official Community Discord and meet many people like yourselves, our Family continues to grow and it so lovely meeting everyone and seeing the passion for our event!
