To ensure everyone feels comfortable and can enjoy the magic equally, we’ve put together a photography and video policy. You can find all the details below.

We love seeing the magic of Wyldwood through your eyes, and we want our visitors to be able to capture memories of their time with us.
However, only photographers and videographers who are officially part of the Wyldwood Media Team are permitted to take photographs or video for the purpose of documenting the festival.
This means that professional, semi-professional or hobby photographers may not bring dedicated photography equipment such as DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, professional video cameras or similar equipment to photograph or film the festival.

To help protect the privacy, comfort and experience of everyone who enters the Wyldwood, photography and filming at the festival is restricted to members of the official Wyldwood Media Team.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the festival, dress up, explore and make memories, but cameras and other photography equipment should not be used to photograph or film other visitors, performers, traders or members of the team.
Our Media Team has been carefully selected to capture the magic of Wyldwood while respecting the people within it. They will always aim to be considerate when photographing our guests, and where appropriate may ask for permission before taking individual or close-up photographs.
If a member of the Media Team asks to photograph you and you would rather not be included, simply let them know. Your wishes will always be respected.
Please also remember that costumes are often labours of love, crafted over countless hours. Treat every person, costume and personal space with care, and never touch someone or their costume without their explicit consent.

📸 What Visitors Can Do
Visitors are welcome to take casual photographs and short videos on their mobile phones for personal use, provided they do so respectfully and without disrupting other visitors, performers or the running of the festival.
Please do not use photography or filming equipment in a way that could obstruct walkways, interfere with performances or create difficulties for other visitors.
🎥 Official Media Team
Our Media Team photographers and videographers are the only people authorised to carry out dedicated photography and videography for Wyldwood.
Our Media Team will be clearly identifiable and may be photographing throughout the festival. If you would prefer not to appear in our official photography or video, please speak to a member of the team.
Please do not assume that having a camera makes you part of the Media Team. Photography passes and permissions are issued directly by Wyldwood, and unauthorised photographers may be asked to stop photographing or leave their equipment with the event team.
🌿 A Note to Our Media Team
Bringing a camera into Wyldwood as part of our Media Team is a privilege and a responsibility. Please help us capture the magic while respecting the people, performers and world around you.
Be Kind & Considerate: Always ask permission before taking a close-up or posed photograph of someone. If they decline, respect their choice.
Respect Their Craft: Many costumes are labours of love, crafted over countless hours. Where appropriate, share your details so subjects can find and enjoy the images you've captured.
Personal Space Matters: Never touch anyone or their costume without their explicit consent.
Mind the Paths: Keep walkways clear and avoid stopping in busy routes or obstructing the movement of visitors. If you need to take a longer shot, move somewhere where you won't impede others.
Follow Crew Instructions: Always respect guidance from the Wyldwood team, identifiable by their Cyan shirts.
Respect Restricted Areas: Being part of the Media Team does not automatically grant access to restricted or staff-only areas. Follow your assigned access permissions and any instructions from the Wyldwood team.

Written or verbal permission to photograph at Wyldwood does not grant access to restricted areas unless this has been specifically agreed with the Wyldwood team.
The use of drones over the festival grounds is strictly prohibited.
We ask everyone to help us keep Wyldwood a place where visitors can relax, performers can work, and everyone can enjoy themselves without feeling like they're constantly being photographed.
