Who makes the decision on accessibility applications?
All accessibility applications, including requests for essential companion tickets and lanyards, are reviewed and approved by Nimbus Disability, who manage the Access Card scheme.

How long is my accessibility support valid for?
Disability passes provided by Wyldwood RenFest are valid for 3 years, in line with the Access Card system. You will need to reapply after this period to ensure all details remain up to date.

What types of disability passes are available?
The type of pass you receive depends on your Access Card eligibility. These lanyards help our staff support your particular needs, ensuring no one is left behind. Available passes include:
Queuing Lanyard – For those unable to stand in long queues.

Carers Lanyard – For individuals who must be accompanied at all times.
​
Assistance Animal Lanyard – For visitors with service animals, helping staff and others to quickly recognise the need for assistance and ensure the safety and comfort of the animal.

Mobility Support Lanyard – For those who use wheelchairs, scooters, or walking aids, to make staff aware of any specific needs related to mobility and access to suitable spaces.

Priority Seating Lanyard – For those who need priority seating or a place to sit, especially during performances, talks, or events where seating may be limited.

Hidden Disabilities Lanyard – For people with invisible disabilities, such as those with chronic pain, neurodivergent conditions, or mental health needs. This lanyard can indicate that the wearer might need extra time, assistance, or space without needing to disclose specifics.

What if I do not have an Access Card but require support?
If you do not have an Access Card, you can still apply for an accessibility pass. This pass functions the same as an Access Card but is only valid for Wyldwood RenFest and is provided free of charge. During the application process, you will also have the option to upgrade to a full Access Card for £15, which grants 3 years of access to venues across the UK.

What if my Access Card is expired or pending renewal?
If your Access Card has expired, you can still apply for an accessibility pass. This pass functions the same as an Access Card but is only valid for Wyldwood RenFest and is provided free of charge. You could also renew your access card.

Do I need to reapply every year?
No, accessibility passes provided by Wyldwood RenFest are valid for 3 years from the date of issue and is valid for use by the guest named and photographed on the database.

How do I collect my accessibility pass or lanyard?
Once your application is approved, you will be able to collect your pass or lanyard from the accessibility entrance on the day of the festival.
